Has anyone used SCO Openserver before. I need to know how the 2 compare. Same syntax in scripting? etc etc

well, i used SCOnix at my previous job, and it was kak. I prefer FreeBSD above anything anyday. As for the scripting, it should be mostly the same, since bash = bash = bash.

OK, stupid way of splaining it, but ya, are the commands similiar?

yeah thats where the difference would come in. I for example, to untar and filter thru bzip in slackware used to be tar -yxvf, but on mandrake it was -jxvf wtf?
