If you are interested in buying a Linux/freeBSD Distro and don't know where to buy, then don't look no further.

Here we will post all the websites where you can buy Linux/FreeBSD CD's
and also the names of Planet Mars members that are willing to copy their distro CD's and mail them to you.

If you know a place that sells Linux/FreeBSD then PM me and I will put it up for everybody to see.
Or if you are willing to copy your distro for other Linux users for a nominal fee. PM me with info on where you live, how much you will charge and the distro you have.

LinuxISO has the ISOs for most every linux and unix distrobution...

I personally use and recommend Debian... It takes a bit more work than Mandrake or Redhat, but you learn what you're doing... If you can't download it, all you should ever pay for Debian is the price of the CD and the Shipping (most places will sell Debian for about $5 USD)...

Most people dont know this as it's not advertised much... probably for good reason, but check out ftp.up.ac.za/mirrors

It's the University of Pretoria's FTP server. They mirror almost all of the Linux Distributions on there servers. They also have a TON of bandwidth, so for Gauteng users, the'll be pretty quick for downloads.!!

Ok...

I keep seeing all these posts about people who want Linux but they don't know where to get it and blah blah blah.....

Well here is the solution.!

Contact Posix Systems

for R100 they will write RedHat or Mandrake or maybe even another Distro for you. All you then have to do is get it from them.!!!

goto their web page and get their contact details...

You no longer have any excuses..!!!
